I'm Dane DiLiegro, an actor from Lexington, Massachusetts. I played professional basketball in Italy and Israel for eight years before moving to acting in 2019. Now I live in Los Angeles.
I have an American and Italian passport and spend a lot of time traveling to find food. Food is the glue of my life, I love creating and experiencing new dishes. When I'm not working or training, I am most likely thinking about the next meal I'm going to cook.
Lately, Ive been working on showing the world that I am more than an actor who only portrays nonhuman characters.

Dario Cecchini
In 2016, I was invited to live and work with famed Tuscan Dario Cecchini, an eighth generation butcher who's shop is over 250 years old. Over the next few years, I would spend my off seasons and time between basketball games working with Dario in his hometown of Panzano in Chianti, Tuscany, Italy; learning antique Tuscan butchery while developing a deeper understanding of Dario's philosophy. We developed a close relationship which continues to this day. Dario continues to guide and influence my culinary artistic technique and motivation. Dario has been featured on shows such as Chef's Table, No Reservations, and MasterChef.
